I remember.

I remember.

Every moment. Every tear. Every person lost.

I remember.

How one horrible tragedy pulled together an entire nation. Complete strangers hugging each other. People donating blood, donating time, driving out to volunteer.

No arguments of politics. Of race. Of sexual orientation. Just love for a country and grieving. Hand-in-hand facing uncertainty together, knowing that our lives would never be quite the same again.

Let’s honor all of those lost. Let’s honor all of the heroes. Not just today, but every day. Let’s once again act like a country working together to heal. We are so lost in so many ways, we could use some healing. ♥

The world is a tiny less brighter now. :( I just found out Eldest’s namesake passed away. She was 92 and absolutely amazing. I would not be who I am today without the role she played in my life. She was Maude (if you take away the affairs with young men, her husband wouldn’t have approved) before Maude was. And she will be very missed. ♥
